Josh, keep upthe good work!!! I can truely appreciate your great talent and the gift i get when i hear your voice. To all of these in greats that say horrible things:: get a hobby that is constructive, and not hurtful. Have you even listened to him sing? ???His voice as well as great songs have brought some peace to people who have pain.Go back to your no talents like brittany and mariah!!!!!!!!!! leave Josh alone.

Utopia: I don't know why you feel the need to come here and diss Josh Groban. You are going to expose Josh as a fraud? I would like to see THAT day!!! Josh has an incredible amount of talent as a singer and musician. He has worked very hard to become the musician he is and he takes his craft very seriously. He seems like nice enough guy in interviews, but I certainly don't claim to "know" him. Josh does possess an unbelievable ability to move people with his singing. Isn't that what music making is all about? Perhaps you are a little jealous of Josh?

The power and emotion Josh gives out is unbeliveable. Josh's youth and beauty of tone and inflection make his singing tear your heart out. This boy needs to do some operatic roles in the future. I for one would love to hear what he could do with the aria "Una furtiva lagrima" from Donizetti's "the Elixir of love". His sung italiano is nearly perfect so I think he could do this piece well.
I am 30 years old and an operatically trained soprano who loves great voices and I would put Josh in that category. He has such a mature voice and sings classical style very well, but he can also do "crossover" and sing pop music without killing a song. Wish that all pop singers had the training, technique, and style that he has. Anyone can make noise, but it takes a true artist to make music. In the words of the title character of Puccini's opera "Tosca": "Ecco un artista!"
Bravissimo Josh!

Alright...the whole point of this board was for the fans of Josh. We don't need anyone here dissing his obvious talent because someone might be a little jealous..(not gonna mention any names of course.) Besides...there is no denying that Josh totally rocks and i am looking forward to seeing him really soon when he comes to Maine for a show. "If velvet could sing, it would be called Josh Groban." ;D

Josh Groban's magnificent talent does not have to have any of our opinions because it stands on its own merit. It is incredible to me that anyone could not hear this man's voice and realize that he is one of the great talents of all time. Those who make light of him for whatever reason are showing their ignorance, or else they're tone deaf. I am a 59 year old man, married with 3 children and 5 grandchildren. Our entire family thinks that Groban's gift to the world at large, and the world of music in particular, is beautiful and rare. I haven't spoken with anybody who has seriously listened to Josh Groban who did not think his talent is fantastic. His vocal quality, range, and expression are exquisite. I do believe that the majority of people are not classic music fans, and Groban's adaptation of elements of it in his first album were groundbreaking and beautiful. But, with all due respect, there is a limit as to what the majority of people will accept in this arena. And although I am somewhat disappointed in the selections of "Closer" because they are a little too heavy-handed on the classical side, I still believe his career is new and he will defer to songs for his next album that showcase and give proper reflection of his remarkable, unclassifiable talent.

This poll seems a little immature...
Regardless, I love the sound of his voice, it really doesn't go much deeper than that. Maybe next time, include a selection for that in your poll.
