Is Josh a Jew? I was just wondering... WHAT POSSIBLE DIFFERENCE COULD IT MAKE? His voice is for the whole world, all races, all creeds. I can think of some other Jewish folks who have made it pretty darned good in the music business... among them, Barbra Streisand, Marilyn and Allan Bergman, and Marvin Hamlisch. And there are lots more. If Groban is Jewish, then Israel should celebrate!!! Regardless, we can all celebrate this magnificent talent.

This is something I'm wondering, too. Only because I love the Jewish race and admire them. If he is, they are a blessed nation to call him their son! It wouldn't surprise me a bit. I also wondered because in one part of a song on his new album, CLOSER, I thought I could hear a little bit of a Cantor technique. Very beautiful.

He's not Jewish. I wondered this myself, and after a little google search found out that his father was Jewish and converted to Episcopalian to marry Josh's mother. So he has Jewish roots but is not Jewish by religion. Fortunately he kept that beautiful curly hair as a trait!!
